CONTINUO WINDS

Barbara Wyton, Flute
Has performed in the Ridgefield, Norwalk and West Conn Symphony Orchestras and currently remains a freelance performer in the NY/CT area. Since 1981 she has directed Continuo Music, LLC, a music service business that specializes in providing live music for weddings and other events. Barbara taught Instrumental Music at Cider Mill School in Wilton for 34 years. She is founder and director of the Wilton Conservatory of Music and currently manages her own business, "Continuo Music at Home", a teaching service that provides music lessons in the home throughout Fairfield County.

Dorothy Darlington, Oboe
Played and taught in Costa Rica for the Peace Corps, performed with the Jacksonville and Savannah Symphonies and earned her D.M.A. (Doctor of Musical Arts) at Catholic University while playing in the Marine Band ("The President's Own") She was a regular substitute in the New York Philharmonic for ten years. She remains active as a freelance and chamber musician.

Joseph Vinetz, Clarinet
Studied clarinet with Keith Wilson at the Yale School of Music as an undergraduate, has played with the Yale Symphony Orchestra and the Galveston Symphony Orchestra, and currently plays with various local ensembles including the Hudson Valley Wind Ensemble. He continues to study with Pavel Vinnetsky. His day job is Professor of Medicine (Infectious Diseases) at the Yale School of Medicine.

Rosemary Dellinger, Bassoon
Studied bassoon performance at SUNY Purchase and Yale School of Music. She played principal bassoon with La Orquesta Sinfónica de Maracaibo, Venezuela for four years after completing her musical studies. Ms. Dellinger plays with the American Chamber Orchestra and the Westchester Chamber Soloists. In addition to performing with Continuo Winds, Ms. Dellinger is a member of The Madera Winds and is active with various musical groups throughout Fairfield County. A retired Spanish teacher, she resides in Norwalk with her husband.

Dr. Marjorie Seymour Callaghan, French Horn
Teaches french horn, sight singing/ear training, and classes in music history at both the undergraduate and graduate levels at Western Connecticut State University. She is a member of the Ridgefield Symphony and the Greater Bridgeport Symphony and freelances throughout the Connecticut/New York area. She has performed with the orchestras for the Irish Tenors, Peter Cetera, and the rock group "Yes". In 2014 Dr Callaghan performed under Maurice Peress at the Town Hall, New York City for the 90th anniversary of George Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue: A Celebration of Paul Whiteman's Historic 1924 Aeolian Hall Concert. She also has maintained a private studio since1984.
